A whole Listing of Dofollow Social Bookmarking Sites

First of all, since I always like paying special focus on beginners, I'd like to explain just what dofollow social bookmarking sites are. Bookmarking sites, in order to prevent spammy submissions, usually add nofollows, which can be basically an instruction that the Google bot gets telling it to not take notice of the link on their site towards yours. Therefore, the web link does not improve your site's PageRank, which can be probably the most, if not the most important step to get top spots on the search engines. - see it here

Are these links useless then? The answer then is no. They may be still useful if you'd like traffic, publicity for the site and reader interest, amongst other things. However, you will find dofollow bookmarking sites out there. Today, we're discussing smaller websites, not the most famous, but submission is advantageous. It will not replace a quality SEO and social media strategy, nevertheless it is an interesting portion of it.

This is a very complete set of some dofollow social bookmarking sites which I've put together. Many times more spam than normal here, please remember that these sites tend to appear and vanish fast - you may have to actually feel the list and re-check it occasionally - but they're still a valid option:

So how will we discover nofollow links anyway? Although I'm often a Google Chrome user, with this I recommend while using Mozilla Firefox browser, because it allows you to install what are called add-ons. Should you look for 'firefox nofollow addon', you will be able to put in several programs that mark nofollow links with red highlighting - a very useful trick for just about any webmaster. Once you get into an internet site that is perhaps all marked in red, you will know that links placed there aren't useful for SEO purposes. Alternatively, if there is no red highlighting, you're all set. - https://www.diigo.com/user/melissaglade0

Other good ways to get dofollow links is by submitting work you're writing to a particular PR (or Press Release) sites. While traffic on these isn't generally huge, the dofollow links are valuable: the same situation just like the dofollow bookmarking sites we listed before... These PR sites don't value quality content as much, so it's fine to submit less newsworthy or informative items, such as announcements about your business, which - let's face it - may well be a small bit less interesting to a average person. - Diigo
